The Highland Lake Kickers swim club met for their last formal swim of the season on Monday, October 21, at the lakeside home of Marlene Rouleau and swam through the leaves.

Braving the crisp waters in order of plunging were: Pat Masucci, Terry Platt, Marlene Rouleau and Sheryl Grant. The swim was found to be invigorating, at the least, as warm spots were scarce.

A planning and social luncheon was held on January 16 at Sweet Peas Restaurant in Riverton. Many challenging and just-for-fun events are planned for the 2008 season. The Kickers, one and all, hope many more swimmers of all ages and abilities will join them in the activities next year.
