We usually have two more events scheduled for the remainder of the years - the fall cleanup and holiday caroling. We have not picked dates for these two events yet, but anyone interested in running one of these events can please call me, Patty Masucci, at 860.379.2303.
This year we are not attempting to plan our relay race with the town of Winsted. Time got the best of us, and the bog in Resha Beach was another deterrent. Next year we plan to schedule meetings beginning in March to plan this event. If you are interested in seeing this event come to fruition, please call Patty Masucci at 860.379.2303 to help.
Next year I will be looking for individuals to chair the many events we put on for Highland Lake and Winsted. These events include the winter dinner/dance, spring cleanup, laurel parade, annual picnic, boat parade, food and wine tasting, and our “It’sAllAboutFun” relay. We already have an offer from Betty Formaggioni for the annual picnic, and Candy Perez and Nora Mocarski have agreed to judge the boat parade. So we are on our way. The membership services committee is in need of volunteers to help us with these events. Without your help they cannot happen. I look forward to hearing from you.
