Call it the biggest social event of the summer! Call it an evening of laughter, friendship, wine and food! Call it a successful fundraiser! Call it an evening you don’t want to miss!

It was the sixth annual Evening on Highland Lake held this year on August 14 at the beautiful Adirondack-style house of Rich and Amy Horowitz on “the Island” of Highland Lake’s third bay. More than 130 guests in attendance sampled over 35 wines, beer, and an abundance of delicious foods from many local restaurants.

The mid-August weather was perfect as festively dressed guests mingled, explored the lovely island, and listened to delightful jazz from the duo of Dennis Langevin and Frank Marzullo.

HLWA’s social committee, chaired by Patty Masucci and Barbara O’Connell, gave praise and thanks to the many members who volunteered their time, talents and energy to this memorable event.
